Is it just me, or is the hypocrite the worst type of person? So why are people, hypocrites? Before answering the why, I guess we should define what is a hypocrite. A hypocrite as defined by the dictionary is a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs. One would assume that once you take time to formulate the belief and then express it to others, it would be easier at that point to just live by it. But as we all know, following the rules is hard, even the ones we create for ourselves and/or say agree with, hence the creation of the hypocrite. All religious or spiritual beliefs despise the hypocrite, and some even give you that as the way you define the devil. Although I believe people grow and beliefs might change, that doesn’t make one a hypocrite. Hypocrites are more than growing and learning people. Hypocrites are people who speak about those things they believe in the present, but they live completely differently. Hypocrites are cancer and exist only out of greed, feeding off those who believe their words, that is why it is so important to watch people’s actions. In my opinion, the hypocrite is all that is wrong with the world, so once you discover the hypocrite, that relationship must come to an end…
